Block Colour

Block colour is another daring trend for this season. With rich fabrics and clashing colours, this look is not for the faint hearted.
Neon shades work best with a tan and can offer a modern twist on an elegant dress. If you don´t want to go all out with this trend add a jolt of vibrancy to your wardrobe with bright coloured pieces. For example, quirky accessories like neon belts and shoes or a statement bag and jewelry add a unique and bold effect to any outfit.
Coloured Prints

As you well know, prints are another huge trend for spring/summer 2008. We´ve already talked about Dip Dye and floral prints but stripes, tribal, gingham checks and artistic abstract prints are also pieces to be looking out for. The key to wearing prints no matter what your size is to make sure the item of clothes you go for are well cut.
You can approach this trend by adding one key item to your day look for example, a brightly printed dress with subtle accessories or an artistically printed scarf with a jeans and vest combo. Sheer floral tops with jeans is also a chic and feminine way of wearing this trend.
Alternatively dive in and be daring with clashing prints and bold accessories. Remember, when floral prints are concerned keep them as the main focus and tone down accessories.
DD+ Bras

Being a 34F , I used to hate looking for affordable Bras that didn’t look like I had borrowed them from my Gran, and when it came to looking for bikinis that gave support but still looked good I had little hope! That was of course until I discovered La Senza and their DD+ range.
La Senza has a beautiful range of Underwear and Beach wear for women with DD+ cup sizes upto an F cup. Varying in styles from basics to somthing a little more sexy and with offers like “2 bras for £20″ or “Buy a bikini top and get the bottom free!” - La Senza has exactly what you need and won’t break your bank.
Their online services are easy to use and have fast and affordable delivery. La Senza also offer an email service informing customers of new ranges, promotions and sales. (Look out for La Senza’s online sales, I have bought many Bras for as little as £5. Total Bargains!)
The Drape Trend
Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
Sweetly seductive, this trend is summers most flattering look.
For a day look, team with statement acccessories like chunky jewllery or Gladiator flats to balance the soft and sweet effect of the fabrics. For an evening look, think Grecian Goddess. Long, short or one shoulder dresses with unusual necklines create a glamorous and flattering look. Accessorise with beautiful clutches or add attitude with heavy metal bracelets or sculptural heels.
To ‘Dye’ For

Complete your summer wardrobe with the ‘Hippy chic’ style that has splashed its way into the shops this season. With variations of styles, ‘Dip-dyed’ is the dominant pattern. You can choose elegant long ‘dip-dyed’ dresses or relaxed dresses and tops to team with your flip flops.
The style is great for beach holidays, making you every inch the summer goddess.
Sculptural Heels

Dior pistacio green peep-toe shoes with diamond encrusted cone heel
£635
The sculptural heeled shoe is a definite dressing-up shoe. Their embellished or irregular-shaped heel makes them impossible to ignore.
If you are brave enough to wear these beautifully unique shoes the trick is to keep your look elegant and simple. Trousers tapered at the ankle look great as they accentuate the shoe. And remember, do not over accessorise – tone down all jewellery.
Denim Delight

Chanel, Denim Mini Dress, £340.
Lagerfeld’s faded denim, embellished skater-girl-style mini dress
If you have been roaming the high sreet lately you will have noticed a lot of denim creeping back onto the racks and rails for the spring/summer collections. Denim is back, not in the form of jeans but as jackets, tops, dresses, shorts, waist coats, bags, shoes, etc!
The trick is to keep it simple, remember not to go for the oh so horrific ‘Denim Tracksuit,’ and never wear two different shades of denim together. Instead, try teaming a denim jacket with a floral dress or a denim dress with a plain T- shirt underneath for effortless summer style.
TopShop and New Look have affordable yet stunning pieces.
